BruxZir Processing Equipment
The easy-to-operate BruxZir FastFire Furnace is specially designed for the sintering of milled BruxZir restorations. Featuring a new, higher-efficiency design, this high-temperature muffle furnace offers several improvements over previous models including: better insulation, increased heating rate capabilities (up to 40° C/min), 6 moly disilicide heating elements for quick temperature ramp-up, 4 cooling fans for enhanced cooling rate, shorter cycle time, furnace door key lock, and higher purity containment for better restorations. A special thermocouple ensures accuracy of heating phases.
The BruxZir Drying Unit features an infrared heating bulb to ensure consistent heating and long-lasting performance. The unit connects to a central vacuum system to improve air circulation and enhance the drying process. Its durable powder-coated finish ensures high temperature stability.
The BruxZir Vacuum Chamber is designed to achieve a more uniform infiltration of BruxZir Coloring Liquid in just 10 minutes. It is large enough for multiple units and shades to be processed at the same time. The chamber is made of a hard, durable acrylic and includes a quick release valve.
BruxZir Processing Materials
BruxZir Milling Blanks are used for the production of full-contour zirconia crowns, bridges and implant crowns. Made from the highest quality zirconia powder, which is chemically and physically reprocessed to further reduce zirconia particle size and then shaped through a unique patent-pending process, BruxZir Milling Blanks produce a final restoration that exhibits maximum strength and translucent pearlescence. BruxZir Milling Blanks fit many popular milling systems.
BruxZir Shaded Milling Blanks are used for the production of full-contour zirconia crowns, bridges and implant crowns. These pre-shaded milling blanks feature homogenous shading throughout the entire zirconia blank, providing improved shade consistency, while saving you time and money because you will no longer have to invest in coloring liquids or the labor required for the coloring process. This complete color penetration eliminates the possibility of white "show-through" after adjustment. Due to our proprietary shading agents and patent-pending colloidal process, the new BruxZir Shaded material also transmits the warm colors of the mouth better than dipped zirconia restorations for increased translucency and esthetics. BruxZir Shaded Milling Blanks can be used in many popular milling systems, including Glidewellâ€™s BruxZir™ Milling System, and are available in four base shades that can be stained to provide a lifelike match to all 16 VITA Classical shades.
The BruxZir Coloring Liquid Kit is exclusive to Glidewell Dental Lab and designed to be used with BruxZir Solid Zirconia Milling Blanks. This kit comes complete with 16 sealed, leak-resistant, 150 mL jars of coloring liquids and 16 empty screw top dipping jars. The coloring liquid is compatible with 16 standard VITA shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, A4, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, C2, C3, C4, D2, D3 and D4. Purchase BruxZir Coloring Liquid to aid in the process of achieving desired esthetics for BruxZir Solid Zirconia crowns, bridges and implants. The BruxZir Spray Glaze Powder is a low-fusing universal glaze that has been proven in production at Glidewell Laboratories. The spray glaze powder is efficient, cost effective, easy to apply and provides consistent results.
Since BruxZir restorations are made from solid zirconia, you may find them harder to adjust with conventional bur kits. To easily adjust, polish or remove these restorations, we have developed specially designed burs and polishers. The diamond burs and polishers in the new BruxZir Adjustment & Polishing Kit are ideal for adjusting and polishing zirconia, and the diamonds also work extremely well if you ever need to cut off or provide access for a root canal through a zirconia crown. Always use light pressure with water and air spray when adjusting ceramic restorations to avoid micro-fractures.
